I provide a holistic and collaborative assessment service for a number of purposes. For some, an assessment of their psychological wellbeing can be beneficial in order to determine a treatment pathway and to make sense of your difficulties.
I have particular skills and expertise in assessing psychological trauma, specifically post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex PTSD. An assessment session typically lasts between one to three sessions and a report can be provided upon request. Psychological therapy offers a space to explore your experiences in a confidential and non-judgmental environment. The purpose of therapy is to develop a shared understanding of your difficulties in order to move on and develop new ways of coping.
Therapy begins with an initial assessment appointment to gather information and determine the most appropriate approach that is based upon your individual needs and enables you to achieve your goals.
I provide psychological therapy that is evidence based and use the following models within therapy sessions; Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I can offer bespoke packages of supervision and consultancy based on individual, team or organisational need. This may include:

I am able to offer bespoke training packages to organisations on a wide range of topics in order to address workplace stress and trauma, as well as improve emotional and psychological well-being. Training sessions can be fully tailored to the organisation’s needs and may vary in length from one hour up to a couple of days.
